Liang Chen
Ms. Chen is an influential executive in the data center industry with rich working experience in Fortune 500 companies and listed data center companies. She currently serves as the Senior Vice President of BODADATA’s Construction Department, responsible for the design and construction of BODADATA’s flagship data center projects.
Ms. Chen was formerly the Senior Vice President of GDS. As one of the senior executives when GDS went public, she was responsible for GDS’s product strategic management and the delivery, design, and construction of its data center. She participated in every stage of GDS’s development, from its inception as a privately-held company to its promotion as a industry leader, establishing relevant standards for its planning, design, digitization, productization, and management process. In addition, she worked at IBM for 14 years, serving as the Manager of Data Center Solutions Department in China, the General Manager of Data Center Consulting and Design Department in Greater China, and the General Manager of Data Center Services Products in Greater China. She participated in the planning, design, and construction of numerous large data centers for the finance industry and enterprises. Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Chen worked at East China Architectural Design & Research Institute (ECADI) for nearly 7 years.
Ms. Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Shanghai University and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tongji University. As a technical expert, she participated in the publication of "Smart Cloud Data Center" , "Infrastructure Construction and Operations and Maintenance Management of Bank Data Centers", and the compilation and revision of GB50174, which is the new national standards for data centers.
